Two more deaths reported as active cases of COVID-19 pass 2,700

By Aaron Humes: Belize has 2,709 active cases of COVID-19 with 239 new cases added today, Wednesday, according to Ministry of Health and Wellness data.

237 persons are reported to have recovered, however, two more have unfortunately died.

460 samples remain under investigation.

Deaths have now passed 450 of more than 23 thousand confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.

55 persons remain hospitalized with 17 in intensive care.
