By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The United States National Hurricane Center (NHC) is tracking a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms over Hispaniola, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and the southeastern Bahamas.
The NHC said in its 6 am advisory that said rain will impact those areas of the Caribbean during the next day or two if the system develops or not.
There is very little probability of development over the next two days, and if it does it’s going to be slow due to “unfavorable upper-level winds”.
The NHC said it is expected the system will move northward tonight, then it should speed up eastward on Thursday.
Toward the end of the week the disturbance should mix with a front but further development is not expected.
