Belize City, Dangriga hotspots of concern in daily tally for COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: Belize City continues to lead the daily COVID-19 table, but it has been having some recent competition from the likes of Orange Walk and Dangriga Towns.

The Old Capital added another 55 new cases today from a total of 64, with San Pedro Town separately accounting for eight.

Dangriga reported 22 of 47 new cases in the Stann Creek District; Orange Walk Town added 16 of 39 and Punta Gorda Town 16 of 41.

Corozal Town added 10 of 23 and there were twelve new cases between the Twin Towns, six in Belmopan and surrounds (Las Flores and Salvapan), and two in Benque Viejo. One village of concern is Silk Grass, Stann Creek with 14 new cases.
