By Aaron Humes: Mainly fair and dry weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies will be mostly sunny today with only isolated showers along with the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm over the mountains. Tonight it will be cloudy at times with a few showers or thunderstorms over the south, and isolated elsewhere.
High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees inland, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 81 degrees along the coast, 73 inland, and 66 in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots; the sea state is slight.
Tides will be low at 12:02 PM this afternoon and 11:07 PM tonight and high at 6:28 PM this evening.
The sun sets at 5:31 this evening and rises at a quarter to six Friday morning.
Friday brings cloudy spells with isolated showers or thunderstorms in the daytime, then a few showers and thunderstorms mostly over the south at night.
