Robbers scared off at Lopez Equipment Company

By Aaron Humes: Would-be robbers got scared off after an attempt at Lopez Equipment Company Ltd located on Caesar Ridge Road this morning.

Police say the company manager reported that two men entered just after 10:30, one armed, who held up two employees at the front desk and pushed them toward a back office.

Their plans were thwarted when they were distracted by another person in the office running out, and they exited and fled on bicycle without taking anything.

Police investigations continue.
