By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Forest Department reminds customers that its offices in Orange Walk and at Savannah in Independence are still closed today.
The offices were closed for three days on Wednesday, October 13, for sanitization purposes and remain closed today Friday, October 15, 2021, said the Belize Forest Department in a statement.
“This measure is necessary to sanitize offices and carry out testing of Forest Department staff,” said the statement.
The Belize Forest Department said that services will continue to be provided to the public online.
The Forest Department may be reached using the following telephone numbers and email addresses to contact staff.
The Belize Forest Department said that applications for Forest Licenses may be picked up at any Forest Department office, requested from [email protected], or through Facebook. Applications may then be dropped off or submitted via email.
“The Forest Department thanks the public for its cooperation and understanding and continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated and adhere to the health measures put in place to protect everyone’s health and safety,” said the statement.
