31 year old Ian Westby is Belize’s latest murder victim

By BBN Staff: The latest murder victim in Belize has been identified as 31 year old Ian Westby.

Police say Westby entered a vehicle on Consuelo Street and left in the vehicle with another man. Minutes later, gunshots were heard and Westby’s uncle found him apparently unconscious with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Westby was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

His friends are sending condolences to Westby and his family on social media. “Rest in peace bro we wah sqaud up again someday still can’t believe u gan bro u will be missed but never forgotten!!!” posted one of his friends.
