COVID-19 makes surge in Belize City, West over weekend

By Aaron Humes: The daily COVID-19 table is led by Belize City’s 94 new cases of 135 across the district, with other hotspots including Biscayne and Ladyville with nine new cases each.

San Pedro Town added another 15 cases.

Out west, the Twin Towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena combined for 56 cases, Belmopan and suburbs 20, and Benque Viejo six.

Up north Corozal Town had 20 of 45 cases across the district and Orange Walk 15 of 33.

Down south, Dangriga added 18 new cases, Independence 14, and Punta Gorda 28 of 58 with Eldridgeville adding another nine.
