More than 29,000 people get the jab in Ministry of Health’s latest vaccination drive

By BBN Staff: More than 29,000 people were vaccinated on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The latest vaccination report shows a total of 29,886 people vaccinated.

There were 27,550 people between the ages of 12-17 years old vaccinated, as well as 2,336 people aged 18 years and older.

The latest number of vaccinated persons brings the national total for those vaccinated (received only one dose) up to 204,095 and brings the number of those fully vaccinated (received both vaccine shots) up to 167,102.

The data includes those who received the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines.
