By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports that over 27,000 Belizeans who are under 18 years of age have been vaccinated up to Wednesday, October 20, 2021 as the national vaccination campaign continues.
Actually there were 27,611 people between the ages of 12-17 years old who have been vaccinated to date.
The latest number of vaccinated persons brings the national total for those vaccinated (received only one dose) up to 204,300 and brings the number of those fully vaccinated (received both vaccine shots) up to 168,700.
The data includes those who received the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines.
