Robbers take over $16,000 worth of items in Unitedville burglary

By Aaron Humes: Three men from Unitedville, Cayo District are wanted in connection with the burglary of the residence of a retired naturalized Belizean in the village between October 10 and 18, 2021.

Police report that the retiree was visiting his family abroad when he was alerted to the burglary by a phone call from his property caretaker.

The burglars took an assortment of items including electronics, jewelry, household goods, and collectibles, all to an estimated total value of $16,400.

Police continue their investigations.
