Posted: Thursday, October 21, 2021. 11:36 am CST.

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Taiwan Embassy today announced that on Friday, October 21, they will lower their flag to half-mast “as we mourn the tragic loss of the 46 people who perished in a devasting fire in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan on October 14, 2021”.

Forty-six people died and dozens were injured after a major fire broke out in a decades-old 13-story commercial and residential building in southern Taiwan said the Taiwan Embassy.

The Embassy expressed sincere gratitude for all the sympathies and condolences extended by their Belizean friends during this difficult moment.
