Districts reported lower daily numbers of COVID-19; Belize City still leading

By Aaron Humes: Belize City reported 30 of 42 cases of COVID-19  today as former hotspots reported fewer cases countrywide.

San Pedro Town added nine and there were a handful of village cases.

Cases in the north and west have fallen significantly, with 10 of 24 in Orange Walk Town; four of 22 in Corozal Town, Belmopan, Benque Viejo, and San Ignacio/Santa Elena 21 of 44 between them.

In the south, there is still some concern with Dangriga having 14 and Independence 10 of 41 cases in the Stann Creek District, but Punta Gorda had seven of Toledo’s 19 new cases.
