Hospitalizations remain steady as COVID high-tide appears to recede

By Aaron Humes: The week closes with a steady number of hospitalizations and fewer persons in intensive care with COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 37 persons hospitalized, up from 36 on Thursday, while 10 persons are in intensive care, down from 12 on Thursday.

Twenty-one of the hospitalized are unvaccinated; 11 are fully vaccinated and five are partially vaccinated. Of the persons in intensive care, five are unvaccinated and four are fully vaccinated, one is partially vaccinated.
