No new COVID deaths for the first time in a month, second day with more recoveries than new cases

By Aaron Humes: The last time Belize reported no COVID-19 deaths in over 24 hours by data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness was September 17.

But there was none reported today, keeping the number of deaths since September 1 at 122 and 473 overall.

201 new cases were reported but there were 212 recoveries, for the second straight day.

The number of active cases is currently 2,726, with 431 samples under investigation.

37 persons remain hospitalized and 10 are in intensive care.
