Consultant and former Canadian Prime Minister to be keynote speaker at Belize Investment Summit

By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño has announced that the Belize Investment Summit, now two weeks away, will be headlined by former Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honourable Stephen J. Harper, as keynote speaker.

“Join us for a rousing Keynote from [Stephen Harper] and other prominent national and international speakers, dignitaries, policymakers, and industry experts at Belize’s first investment summit in San Pedro, Belize on November 10th and 11th,” the Prime Minister wrote on his social media yesterday.

He further reminded, “The summit is a bold initiative of the government of Belize to position the country as a promising investment destination where participants can confidently invest in the abundance of opportunities that Belize has to offer.”

Harper was Prime Minister from 2006 to 2015. He is a founding leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, and presently runs a consulting firm, Harper and Associates – a global strategic advisory firm, and is a regular public speaker on the issues of geopolitics, populism, and global business trends.
