Two fifteen-year-old girls reported missing over the weekend

By BBN Staff: Two fifteen-year-old girls from different families and different parts of the country were reported missing one day apart over the weekend, leaving their families and authorities pleading the public’s assistance in finding them.

Rocio Nayeli Lemus, a resident of Cowpen Village, Stan Creek district, was reported missing on Friday. Reports are that she left home around 6:30 a.m. and was not seen or heard from again. She is of Hispanic descent, about 5 feet tall, and weighs about 130 pounds. She is believed to be in the company of an adult male.

On Sunday, Sarah Makin, from Armenia Village, Cayo District, was also reported missing. She was last seen in the village around 5:30 a.m. She is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and was last known to be wearing a red blouse and green shorts.

Anyone with knowledge of either of their whereabouts is asked to report it by calling 922, the nearest police station or Missing Person’s Belize at 610-6094.
