National Immunization Advisory Group offers support for ailing Dr Cecilio Eck

By Aaron Humes: Noted pediatrician Dr. Cecilio Eck continues to fight for his life against COVID-19 in the hospital.

Today his colleagues on the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group offered their best wishes and prayers by press release, stating: “Dr. Cecilio Eck has been an ardent promoter for vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, and for the education of the population on the measures to best protect our communities against COVID-19 infection.

The members of the NITAG join the community in offering prayers of healing and for the full recovery of our friend and colleague Dr. Cecilio Eck.”

They added encouragement to get vaccinated and to consistently follow all the preventative measures of wearing a face mask properly, handwashing, and maintaining physical distance in public places.

“United we will go through this pandemic,” they concluded.
