Placencia man ambushed and shot while heading home

By BBN Staff: A Placencia resident was shot last night while heading home.

Police say that 24-year-old, Rasheed Hyde had just arrived at his apartment building around 8:00 p.m. and was on the veranda when a man approached him.

The man fired several shots at him, hitting him to the body several times.

Hyde was taken to the Placencia Polyclinic for treatment, where he is listed as being in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
