Britney Spears staying at an exclusive island resort off the Placencia coast

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: One of the world’s best-selling music artists, Britney Spears is staying at an exclusive island resort off the Belize coast in the Placencia area.

Yesterday, Breaking Belize News reported the “Baby One More Time” and “Oops! … I Did It Again” global superstar Britney Spears suddenly showed on Belize’s shores.

“Arriving on a private island…it’s nice here but waaayyy too hot,” Spears posted on Instagram. A video of her at the Philip Goldson International Airport and flying over the Belize barrier reef accompanied her post.

Looks like she timed it right. A cold front is now passing over Belize which should make it more pleasurable for the world star who, with all the problems she’s been having, certainly needs some relaxation time. And the island resort off the Belize coast is surely a place to get away from your troubles, even if it just for a short while.

The luxury resort priced at “USD 3,950 for two persons for exclusive use per night” has a “Minimum 4-night stay”.

The price includes “all meals prepared by a gourmet chef, all beverages including alcoholic beverages*, all island-based activities including snorkeling, one full day of scuba diving, massages, mainland excursions*, transfers from and to Belize City.”

Britney who pictured herself about to hop on a helicopter must have made gotten the special services of the “7-night stay” which includes “a one-way 35-minute helicopter transfer over the barrier reef directly to the island resort”.

The island resort says it is “The perfect mix of energy and relaxation” and that “[A Belize island resort experience will be anything but ordinary. Dine anywhere. Casually paddle around the island while the vibrant reef entertains or call the boat captain to take you to some of the world’s best snorkeling and diving spots. At the end of the day relax with a cocktail in hand and watch the dolphins swim by. Adventurous guests can head to the mainland where staff will arrange a variety of activities to immerse yourself in Belizean culture.”

If she does all of that or not, Spears’ arrival here is certainly what the Belize Tourism Board is looking for. More publicity for the wonders Belize has to offer.
