Week ends with no new deaths, lower active cases, hospitalizations

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports a lower number of new and active cases of COVID-19 as well as fewer hospitalizations to end the week.

173 new cases were added to the rolls with 235 more declared recovered. 255 samples are under investigation.

Thus the total number of active cases is 2,567.

No new deaths were reported for the second successive Friday, leaving the overall figure at 491 overall and 76 for the month, not counting this weekend.

33 persons are currently hospitalized and 14 are in intensive care.

The number of total cases is just shy of 27 thousand entering November.
