KHMH celebrates patient’s negative COVID-19 test after 23 days in COVID-19 Unit

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Many people don’t survive COVID-19, but today the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City is celebrating that patient Ashley McLaughlin returned a negative COVID-19 test after 23 days in KHMH COVID-19 Unit.

All that time, McLaughlin was on a high-flow nasal Canula oxygen machine which helped him in his recovery along with all the care by the KHMH staff.

Today he was finally able to leave the COVID-19 Unit, and the KHMH staff said on social media that they “could not be more happier”.

“Our patient recovery is a testament to our success and dedication to making you better,” said the KHMH on social media.

Now, let’s wish McLaughlin a speedy recovery.
