Belize Weather: Showery activity continues

A moist north to northeast airflow supports continued rain and showers per the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be cloudy to overcast with light rain or showers and a few thunderstorms over the coast and south. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers or light rain over coastal areas.

High temperatures today are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland, and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight temperatures fall to 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are north to northeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is choppy. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas near thunderstorms.

Tides will be high at 8:53 this morning and 8:37 this evening and low at 2:44 this afternoon. Sunset is at twenty minutes past five this evening and sunrise on Thursday is at 5:52 in the morning.

There should be some improvement on Thursday with partly cloudy skies and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
