By Aaron Humes: As most of the country subsides with regard to new COVID-19 cases, Belize City and the South remain key areas of concern.

The Old Capital saw 30 of 43 new cases reported today and another 15 in San Pedro Town.

Meanwhile, down south Dangriga and Punta Gorda Towns, each added 19 new cases. The southern districts together reported 75 new cases compared to 57 in Cayo and 28 in the North – in the latter, Trial Farm (6) had more new cases than Orange Walk Town (four).

Belizeans are reminded to stay vigilant and keep to the COVID protocols and regulations.
