Medina’s House of Jewelry employee charged with theft of two 14K Cuban link gold chains

By BBN Staff: A former employee of Medina’s House of Jewelry was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of theft.

Nineteen-year-old Sydayah Neal, represented by attorney Orson Elrington, appeared before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Magistrate Ford granted Neal bail in the sum of $1,500 plus one surety of the same amount which she was able to meet before 12 noon. Neal’s next court date is set for January 6, 2022.

The allegation against her is that on October 29, Neal stole two Cuban link 14K gold chains, one valued at $2,185.00 and the other valued at $1,325.00 for a total value of $3,510.
