By Aaron Humes: Just in time for the high season of Belizean tourism, seasonal and daily flights from low-cost airlines in the United States and Canada are returning, according to the Belize Tourism Board (BTB).
Starting today, Wednesday, WestJet resumes its twice-weekly flights from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Philip Goldson International Airport. Flights are Wednesdays and Saturdays up to April 30, 2022, serving Canadians who feel comfortable enough to travel from the Great White North to sunnier climes.
Later in November and December, new carriers Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and SunCountry join old reliables American, United, COPA of Panama, TAG of Guatemala City, and domestic carrier Tropic Air flying from Cancun.
