Belize Weather: Clouds and rain supreme heading to weekend

The National Meteorological Service forecasts continued instability due to the lingering cold front.

It will be cloudy today with showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms countrywide but especially along the coast.

High temperatures today are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight temperatures fall to 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly at 5 to 10 knots and sea conditions are slight.

Tides are high at 9:44 a.m. and 9:12 p.m. and low at 3:20 p.m. The Sun sets at 5:19 this evening and rises at 5:52 Friday morning.

Similar weather conditions are expected to prevail on Friday.
