By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belmopan Mayor Sharon Palacio launches the TEN initiative to support entrepreneurs and to promote Belmopan as a tourism hub.

“Our goal is to establish “The Entrepreneurs Network” (TEN),” said Mayor Palacio. “TEN is to equip the entrepreneurs of the City of Belmopan, especially our Youths to expose them to the resources and connections they need to be the best leaders of this economy. We are planning a Business Management Bootcamp Workshop January 2022.”

“If you are able, please find it in YOU to EQUIP at least one more person in Belmopan, so we can “Rebuild the Economy”: “Together we are Stronger”,” said Palacio appealing to established businesses in Belmopan.

Palacio said that as part of the TEN drive they would be visiting places to eat on Thursday, November 4, places to sleep on Friday, November 5, and places to visit on Saturday, November 6.

“Stay connected as we journey to take our overdue space on the Tourism Platform,” she said on a Facebook post.

She asked entrepreneurs who want to be a part of the program not to hesitate and call Kyle at 600-0451, Dipo at 606-5121, and Brito at 615-2249.
