Seine Bight man escapes shooting attempt unharmed, police detain prime suspect

By BBN Staff: A Seine Bight man escaped an attempt on his life last night and police have arrested the suspected attacker.

Travon Guttierez, 19, told police that he had arrived home around 8:30 p.m. when he noticed someone under his sister’s house which is in the same yard.

The person approached him, pulled out a gun, and fired several shots at him.

Gutierrez ran to safety but said that he clearly identified his attacker before he did. Police recovered four expended shells from the scene. No one was injured in the incident

Police have since detained the person named, however, his name is being withheld as he has not been formally charged with any offense.
