Belize City woman shot reportedly by a relative

By BBN Staff: A Belize City woman was shot on Friday evening, and reports are that police are looking for a relative in connection with the incident.

The victim, identified as 31-year-old Shantel Bowen was reportedly shot to the arm by her husband’s niece.

She was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and her condition is unknown at this time.

Police are currently seeking the niece and one other person in connection with the incident.
