COVID 19 – 509 deaths as Belize approaches 28 thousand confirmed cases

By Aaron Humes: Belize has now had 509 total deaths from COVID-19 since it was first discovered here last March.

Four persons were added to the rolls today, all unvaccinated.

There were three females and one male per Ministry of Health and Wellness data, three from the Belize District and one from the Cayo District.

The fatality rate for COVID-19 is steady at 1.82 percent of all cases, which now number 27,894.

Since September 1, 148 persons have died from COVID-19, with 14 deaths counted in this first week of November alone.
