Cayo Volleyball Association holds one-day workshop today Saturday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The new Cayo Volleyball Association (CVA) is holding a one-day workshop today Saturday starting at 9 am at the Log Inn Cabins on the George Price Highway.

Recently, a group of volleyball enthusiasts in the Cayo District now led by Wilson Pat came together to revive the sport in Cayo.

Pat said that the Belize Volleyball Association has given them the go-ahead to do so and will later recognize the CVA once they’ve drafted their policies and regulations and have everything ready to restart volleyball in the Western District.

Pat said their objective is to organize primary school, secondary school, and open competitions.

Today’s meeting is to go over their plans with the ten teams they have so far and review their policies, rules, and regulations.
