Popular San Ignacio fast-food vendor passes away

By BBN Staff: Popular San Ignacio fast-food vendor Don Mincho passed away this morning.

Don Mincho was the founder of Mincho’s Fast Food in the San Ignacio Downtown area. He was particularly known for his burritos.

“He sold the best burritos in San Ignacio,” one of his customers said. “He had veggie burritos, regular burritos, breakfast burritos. He also sold salbutes, panades, garnaches, fried tacos, and also the best juices, tropical juices. Everybody knew him in town as Minchos. His food was really good.”

A viewing of his body will be held on Wednesday, November 10, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Cayo Funeral Services, 35 Buena Vista St, San Ignacio.

Francisco Benjamin ‘Mincho’ Bonilla was born on October 4, 1949 and died on November 8, 2021.
