Seasonal flu vaccine is now available countrywide

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Now that the weather is changing, colds are the order of the day. To counter that, the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) offers flu vaccines around this time every year.

On Friday, November 5, the MOHW announced on Facebook that the seasonal flu vaccine is now available throughout the country.

“We encourage persons to get their vaccine,” said the MOHW.

“We especially call on children, older persons, pregnant women, and persons with specific medical conditions to visit with their nearest Health centers for more information on the vaccine.”

However the flu vaccine “will not be available at the regular vaccination sites where we are administering Covid19 vaccines”, said the MOHW.
