By Aaron Humes: Once again Belize City leads the COVID-19 table with 34 of 51 new cases.
The islands are becoming a concern with 11 new cases in San Pedro Town and 7 in Caye Caulker.
Up north there is lower activity with 42 cases between Orange Walk and Corozal Town.
But Cayo added 48 cases including 10 in Bullet Tree Falls outside San Ignacio Town. There were 12 cases between San Ignacio and Santa Elena, nine in Benque Viejo and six in Belmopan proper.
Down south, it is not looking good for Garifuna Settlement Day celebrations as Dangriga reports 17 new cases, Independence 17, Hopkins 2 and Placencia 1 of 47 total new cases.
And in the Toledo District, there are 13 new cases in Punta Gorda Town, 12 in the village of San Miguel and 9 in San Pedro Columbia, the largest settlement in western Toledo.
