Breaking: Price for regular gasoline and kerosene to increase

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Finance announced a short while ago that effective November 10, 2021, the pump price of two fuel products will change.

The prices for regular gasoline and kerosene will register increases as follows:

Regular gasoline will increase by 1 cent from $11.82 to $11.83 per gallon while kerosene will increase by $1.02 from $7.69 to $8.71 per gallon.

The Ministry noted that prices for premium gasoline and diesel will remain unchanged at $12.11 and $11.43 per gallon, respectively.

“The price changes reflect the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies”, the release further stated.

The Government of Belize says that it is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
