By BBN Staff: Camryn Lozano, 20, and Albert Gill, 20, will stand trial at the January session of the Supreme Court for the July 29, 2020 murder of 22-year-old, Egbert Baldwin.
Their fate was decided on Monday in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, after Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser, upon review of the evidence, decided they had a case to answer to.
The prosecution said that some 16 witnesses are to be called in the case. When asked about alibi witnesses, Lozano provided the court with two names while Gill intends to send his list with his alibi witnesses’ names in writing within 7 days.
Baldwin, better known as “Eggy”, was shot multiple times whilst on Marage Road in Ladyville. His murder is believed to be in retaliation for the murder of Lozano’s older brother.
