By BBN Staff: A Belize City man is out on bail and short of $800 this week after pleading guilty to harming his co-worker/former roommate after throwing hands his way.
Byron Perez appeared before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson, charged with punching his colleague Clifton Godoy in the face on Sunday, November 7.
In court, Perez pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $800 plus one surety of the same, which he was able to meet.
The Senior Magistrate questioned the relationship between the two men and Perez explained that they were once roommates, but now only work together on the same job.
Perez is set to go back to court on January 3, 2022.
