More details emerge on double murder in Burrell Boom

By BBN Staff: Late this evening Breaking Belize News reported on a double murder in Burrell Boom village, Belize district.

The incident occurred at Matilda’s Mini Mart in the village and claimed the lives of 21-year-old Kendra Miguel, a Guatemalan cashier of Burrell Boom village and 27-year-old Dennis Brown, a shop assistant from the said village.

Police report that they were called to the crime scene and upon arrival observed the motionless bodies of both victims.

Initial investigations reveal that just after 1:30 pm today, November 11, 2021, Miguel and Brown were at their place of employment, Matilda’s Mini Mart, when a male person arrived on a motorcycle, entered the shop and fired several shots at them fatally wounding them and then made good his escape.

The scene was processed and several .9mm expended shells were retrieved. The bodies of Kendra Miguel and Dennis Brown were transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
