Belize City shop robbed

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a reported robbery at a shop on Mahogany Street on Thursday morning.

Shopkeeper Sergio Nunez reported that two men entered the establishment through the back door. One of them was armed with a firearm and pointed it in his direction and demanded money, while the other culprit searched a drawer and took an undisclosed amount of cash in different denominations.

The robbers took a key for a 125CC Meilun motorcycle, and assorted electrical items before escaping. Police investigation continues.
