Belize Weather: Showery activity picking up

The National Meteorological Service says conditions are becoming moist and unstable.

Skies will be cloudy in spells with showers and isolated thunderstorms over most areas.

High temperatures today are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 74 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight, temperatures fall to 71 degrees along the coast, 67 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots and seastate is slight.

Tides will be low at 11:26 this morning and 11:09 this evening and high at 5:47 this evening. The sun sets at 5:17 this evening and rises Saturday morning at 5:56.

Similar weather conditions are expected to prevail on Saturday.
