Apparent murder victim Jovan Cal found in Punta Gorda

By Aaron Humes: The body of 26-year-old Jovan Cal, of Punta Gorda Town, was discovered this morning in a state of partial decomposition. He had been reported missing earlier this week.

According to police, they received information and found a 9-millimeter expended shell near the seaside in the VOA area, as well as a blue t-shirt identified as belonging to Cal by his mother.

The body was found wrapped up in a recently dug grave not far from the first scene and was observed with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the stomach area.

A post-mortem examination is to be conducted. Police continue their investigations.
