Belize blank Anguilla 4-0 in the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship Qualifiers

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize blew Anguilla away 4-0 in the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship Qualifiers at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on Saturday.

Daijon Daniels hit a brace in the 38^th and 61^st minutes after Kevin Higinio opened the score in the 19^th minute.

An own goal by Noah Bradshaw in the 90^th + 1 sealed the four goals for Belize.

With that win, the U-29 Belize Men’s National Team closed their participation in the regional tournament with a commendable 2 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss record for a total of 7 points.

The Dominican Republic and St Lucia drew 0-0 in the final Group B match.

The Dominican Republic finished with 10 points, won the group, and qualified to the Concacaf U-20 Final Championship. St Lucia finished second with 8 points just ahead of Belize. St Martin and Anguilla got one point each.

Curaçao, Puerto Rico, and Nicaragua won their groups and also qualified to the Concacaf championship.
