By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service projects that a moist and unstable airflow will continue to dominate the weather.
Skies today will be mostly cloudy with sunny breaks. A few showers and periods of light rain will continue to develop offshore this morning and then later move to the mainland. Inland afternoon thunderstorms can be expected. Tonight, skies will be cloudy along with a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms developing mainly along coastal areas.
Early morning fog is affecting our highways and drivers are asked to drive with extreme caution. The fog will lift by 9:00am
High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 72 degrees along the coast, 68 inland and 62 in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 10 knot and sea state is slight.
Tides will be low at 12:18 this afternoon and high at 6:33 this evening. The sun sets at 5:19 this evening and rises at 5:57 Sunday morning.
For Sunday and Sunday night, the weather outlook is for cloudy skies with a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms developing mainly along coastal areas.
