Belize City still seeing double digits in COVID-19 cases

By Aaron Humes: The Old Capital added 32 of 54 new cases of COVID-19 in the Belize district over the weekend, averaging more than 10 per day to once again lead the daily table.

15 were reported in San Pedro, 12 in Corozal Town, 10 in Orange Walk Town, 13 in San Ignacio, 12 in Independence and 8 in Dangriga.

Overall 206 cases were reported in 60 municipalities countrywide over the three days.

Belize has a grand total of 29,105 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic with nearly 92 percent recovered.
