Active COVID-19 cases falling but four new deaths reported

By Aaron Humes: There are a total of 1,728 active cases of COVID-19 reported countrywide with 164 confirmed cases added to the rolls today and 216 removed from them due to recovery. A further 130 samples are under investigation.

However, four new deaths have been reported countrywide, further increasing the death toll.

30 persons are hospitalized and 12 are in intensive care, while Belize has passed 92 percent in the recovery rate.

There have been a total of 29,269 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
