BREAKING: Hot pursuit of suspect in the bushes near Bullet Tree after robbery in Spanish Lookout

By BBN Staff: Police and special response volunteers from Spanish Lookout are in hot pursuit of a robber who held up a small chicken shop in Spanish Lookout near the T-junction of the road leading to the ferry in Central Farm.

After the robbery, the special response volunteers used high tech communication systems to mobilize and a high speed chase ensued as the robber escaped the scene of the robbery on a motorcycle. 

Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that the robber was knocked off his motorcycle near Bullet Tree village by the pursuing team but he managed to jump off the motorcycle and escaped into the bushes. Police and volunteer elements from Spanish Lookout are currently combing the bushes near Bullet Tree and along the road leading to Paslow Falls in their attempts to apprehend the robber.
