Deaths from COVID-19 in November already near 50 after ten-death-weekend

By Aaron Humes: Forty-nine persons have died from COVID-19 in the month of November alone after ten deaths were reported over the weekend and Monday.

Four females and six men passed on, five from the Stann Creek District, two each from mainland Belize District and Orange Walk District and one from Corozal District.

By vaccination status, seven were unvaccinated, two partially vaccinated and one fully vaccinated.

The total national death toll is now 544. Since September 1, 183 persons have died from COVID-19, a majority of middle or old age; a majority are unvaccinated.
