Eight new deaths reported from COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: Three women and five men are reported to have died from COVID-19 in a 24-hour period per the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Four of the deaths are from mainland Belize District excluding San Pedro, two are from Stann Creek District and one each are from Orange Walk District and Cayo District respectively.

Five of the deceased were unvaccinated and three fully vaccinated.

The national death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 556.

Since September 1, 185 persons have died from COVID-19, 61 of those in November.
