Third wave receding as only Belize City and Caye Caulker in double digits for new cases

By Aaron Humes: The daily COVID-19 table looks far shorter today in recent memory.

Belize City is the sole municipality in double figures with 15 new cases of 36, followed by Caye Caulker with 12.

The northern districts combined tallied 16 cases, San Pedro Town added just five and the southern districts 20.

Cayo is the outlier with 40 new cases, of which 30 can be found between Belmopan, Benque Viejo and the Twin Towns.

Overall Belize is closing in on 30 thousand all-time confirmed cases but the numbers are going down as we approach the festive season, starting with Garifuna Settlement Day on Friday.
